Index

Sphinx built an alphabetical index of every documented name. The Quarto site replaces it with two things:

• Search — the box in the header searches the full text of every page, including the API reference. It is the closest equivalent, and generally finds more than the old index did.
• API reference — every public function, class and method, grouped by task rather than listed alphabetically.
